The Harschbichl, with an altitude of 1,604 m the highest peak in the skiing area and starting point of many pistes, can be accessed by cable cars from three sides.

The gentle pistes of the moderately difficult skiing area excels especially with broad slopes and incredibly beautiful panoramic views.

A total of 43 kilometres of pistes are the perfect basis for slow-paced swings on the many pistes right down to the valley. Here, enjoying the unclouded sunshine is top priority.

Fun elements such as obstacles, kickers and corners for playing with skis and balance are provided by the extended Funslope – a magical attraction for all kids and the young at heart. What could be better than skiing or snowboarding in the snow-covered Tyrolean mountains? Not much, probably – except for maybe enjoying a fast downhill run in the St. Johann Funslope, also situated in the Tyrolean mountains, or to be more precise, at the Kitzbüheler Horn. This year, it offers new courses – cooler and more exciting than ever before. Not only will we meet old friends such as the snail, butter boxes and the smiley, there will also be new wave courses and a few additional steep turns, doubling up the fun in the Tyrolean skiing area. Spice up your skiing with the St. Johann Funslope!

And for all those who love waves, this year we offer additional skiing enjoyment on the 700 m long canon mogul piste („Kanonenbuckelpiste“) for even more skiing variations and variety.

Demanding piste: Sauregg-FIS piste: the black piste in the area. A 3.5 km long piste with panoramic views and about 1,000 vertical metres down to the valley.

Longest piste (6 km): from Harschbichl via Penzing to the Hochfeld lifts and down via the Rueppenhang. The Rueppenhang is highly renowned among racers and is frequently visited by ÖSV slalom stars, who come to practice here, especially before the Hahnenkamm race.

Night skiing: Feel the clear evening air on our „Rueppenhang“ piste at the Hochfeld lifts. We don’t want to keep the „night skiing“ event from you, because it is a special feeling to carve downhill under the starlit sky. Lifts are operated every Wednesday from 7 pm to 9.30 pm. The piste is lit until 10 pm.

Sledding, of course, is a pleasure on two runners on our 2.5 km long natural sled run, open every winter during the day. Our Hochfeld lifts are also open on Wednesdays from 7 pm to 9.30 pm for evening sledders. The sled run is lit until midnight.

The world of cabins: You can relax and catch some sunshine at a total of 19 cabins and Alpine restaurants in the skiing area. This excellent selection definitely caters for all tastes.

Leave the stressful everyday life behind you, pack your skis or your snowboard and go up to the Kitzbüheler Horn to enjoy the enchanting views of the magnificent panorama!
